Dr. Andrew Sokolsky is a chiropractor in private practice since 1987. Before becoming a doctor, he taught Human Anatomy at San Francisco State University. He also taught Chiropractic philosophy and practice at Palmer West Chiropractic College.
Over the course of his adult life, he put on 120 pounds to go from the 180 pounds that he weighed in high school, to a high of 300 pounds. His decision to lose weight led him to create THE SOKOLSKY PLAN.
Dr. Sokolsky was driven to design a plan that would be as easy as possible to do, so that he would never be hungry, would enjoy what he ate, would be healthy and satisfied, would have predictable, measurable results, and wouldn’t have to resort to pills or surgery. He also wanted to take into account his age and physical limitations, so he created a plan that would incorporate exercise that most everyone could do.
After losing over 100 pounds, he began sharing THE SOKOLSKY PLAN with others, who were impressed with their ability to lose weight healthfully, without feeling hungry.
Dr. Sokolsky prides himself on dealing effectively with the challenges most overweight people face. He knows many of the struggles you face because he experiences them every day. He hopes to be a role model for those who want to lose weight in a healthy, intelligent way, and to keep the weight off permanently.
